sec.70 Recording change of identifying number or other particulars for vehicle

This section applies if the chief executive— gives a replacement identifying number for a vehicle under section 67 (3) ; or is satisfied particulars given under section 68 (2) or 69 in relation to a registered vehicle are correct. The chief executive must— record the identifying number or particulars in the register; and make available to the registered operator of the vehicle an updated registration certificate for the vehicle. (sec.70-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive— gives a replacement identifying number for a vehicle under section 67 (3) ; or is satisfied particulars given under section 68 (2) or 69 in relation to a registered vehicle are correct. (sec.70-ssec.2) The chief executive must— record the identifying number or particulars in the register; and make available to the registered operator of the vehicle an updated registration certificate for the vehicle.

• (a) gives a replacement identifying number for a vehicle under section 67 (3) ; or
• (b) is satisfied particulars given under section 68 (2) or 69 in relation to a registered vehicle are correct.
• (a) record the identifying number or particulars in the register; and
• (b) make available to the registered operator of the vehicle an updated registration certificate for the vehicle.
