A natural disaster relief measure may be relied on for a vehicle if— the postcode for the vehicle’s garage address is the postcode of an area that is wholly or partly within the area for which the natural disaster relief measures are activated; and while the natural disaster relief measure is in effect— a registration application is made for the vehicle; or a notice is given to a person under section 31 about renewing the vehicle’s registration; or the vehicle’s registration expires. A vehicle for which a natural disaster relief measure may be relied on is an eligible vehicle . (sec.179-ssec.1) A natural disaster relief measure may be relied on for a vehicle if— the postcode for the vehicle’s garage address is the postcode of an area that is wholly or partly within the area for which the natural disaster relief measures are activated; and while the natural disaster relief measure is in effect— a registration application is made for the vehicle; or a notice is given to a person under section 31 about renewing the vehicle’s registration; or the vehicle’s registration expires. (sec.179-ssec.2) A vehicle for which a natural disaster relief measure may be relied on is an eligible vehicle .
