sec.222 School bus not to be driven without warning lights and warning signs

A person must not drive a school bus unless it is fitted with warning signs and warning lights under the Transport Operations (Road Use Management—Vehicle Standards and Safety) Regulation 2021 , schedule 1 , part 7 , division 19 . Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. Subsection (1) does not apply to a school bus that is a heavy vehicle. A person does not commit an offence under subsection (1) if the person drives a school bus that is a relevant vehicle to which the Transport Operations (Road Use Management—Vehicle Standards and Safety) Regulation 2021 , section 130 or 131 applies.
