sec.394B Grant of provisional licences, probationary licences and open licences with certain learner licences—term and fees
This section applies if a person applies at the same time for, and the chief executive decides to grant— a provisional licence, probationary licence or open licence; and a learner licence of a different class to the provisional licence, probationary licence or open licence. The chief executive— may, at the choice of the applicant, grant the provisional licence, probationary licence or open licence for a term for which the licence may be granted— if the person holds an interstate licence—under section 394 (2) ; or otherwise—under section 199 (1) ; and must grant the learner licence for the same term. No fee is payable under schedule 7 , item 4 or 12 in relation to the grant of the learner licence. This section does not apply in relation to the grant of a Queensland driver licence to a person if section 170 (6) , 392 or 393 applies in relation to the grant of the licence to the person. s 394B ins 2022 SL No. 73 s 11 (sec.394B-ssec.1) This section applies if a person applies at the same time for, and the chief executive decides to grant— a provisional licence, probationary licence or open licence; and a learner licence of a different class to the provisional licence, probationary licence or open licence.
