sec.343 Principal place of residence on Queensland island
The chief executive may grant an interlock exemption to an applicant if satisfied of the following— the applicant’s principal place of residence is on a Queensland island; a prescribed interlock installer does not have a place of business on the island; the island is not connected by a bridge to the mainland; the island is not connected by a bridge to another island that is connected by a bridge to the mainland. In this section— Queensland island does not include the following islands— Coochiemudlo Island; Fraser Island; Karragarra Island; Lamb Island; Macleay Island; Magnetic Island; North Stradbroke Island; Orpheus Island; Russell Island. (sec.343-ssec.1) The chief executive may grant an interlock exemption to an applicant if satisfied of the following— the applicant’s principal place of residence is on a Queensland island; a prescribed interlock installer does not have a place of business on the island; the island is not connected by a bridge to the mainland; the island is not connected by a bridge to another island that is connected by a bridge to the mainland. - (a) the applicant’s principal place of residence is on a Queensland island;
- (b) a prescribed interlock installer does not have a place of business on the island;
- (c) the island is not connected by a bridge to the mainland;
- (d) the island is not connected by a bridge to another island that is connected by a bridge to the mainland.
