sec.129 Deciding applications

The chief executive must deal with the application in a timely way and decide to approve, or refuse to approve, the application. In deciding the application, the chief executive must consider— whether the applicant has a special need for a class C learner licence or provisional licence, including— the times of day when the applicant must travel; and how often the applicant must travel; and the distance the applicant must travel; and the applicant’s traffic history. Subsection (1) does not apply if the application is cancelled under section 383 (4) . (sec.129-ssec.1) The chief executive must deal with the application in a timely way and decide to approve, or refuse to approve, the application. (sec.129-ssec.2) In deciding the application, the chief executive must consider— whether the applicant has a special need for a class C learner licence or provisional licence, including— the times of day when the applicant must travel; and how often the applicant must travel; and the distance the applicant must travel; and the applicant’s traffic history. (sec.129-ssec.3) Subsection (1) does not apply if the application is cancelled under section 383 (4) .
