sec.114 Recognition of past licences and non-Queensland driver licences
For section 105 , the person must— have held, within the period of 5 years before the person applies for the open licence, an O type licence of the same class as the licence being applied for; or hold a non-Queensland driver licence that corresponds to an open licence of the class being applied for. However, the person does not satisfy subsection (1) (a) if the person— has been disqualified from holding or obtaining a driver licence; and has not held an O type licence since the person’s period of disqualification ended; and has not held a probationary licence, or a non-Queensland driver licence that corresponds to a probationary licence, for a total period of at least 1 year since the person’s period of disqualification ended. (sec.114-ssec.1) For section 105 , the person must— have held, within the period of 5 years before the person applies for the open licence, an O type licence of the same class as the licence being applied for; or hold a non-Queensland driver licence that corresponds to an open licence of the class being applied for. (sec.114-ssec.2) However, the person does not satisfy subsection (1) (a) if the person— has been disqualified from holding or obtaining a driver licence; and has not held an O type licence since the person’s period of disqualification ended; and has not held a probationary licence, or a non-Queensland driver licence that corresponds to a probationary licence, for a total period of at least 1 year since the person’s period of disqualification ended.
- (a) have held, within the period of 5 years before the person applies for the open licence, an O type licence of the same class as the licence being applied for; or
- (b) hold a non-Queensland driver licence that corresponds to an open licence of the class being applied for.
- (a) has been disqualified from holding or obtaining a driver licence; and
- (b) has not held an O type licence since the person’s period of disqualification ended; and
- (c) has not held a probationary licence, or a non-Queensland driver licence that corresponds to a probationary licence, for a total period of at least 1 year since the person’s period of disqualification ended.
