sec.260 Existing exemptions
This section applies to an exemption made under section 153 of the Act that— exempts a person or class of persons from complying with a provision of the repealed regulation that is substantially the same as a provision (the relevant provision ) of this regulation; and was in effect immediately before the commencement. This section also applies to an exemption made under section 153 of the Act after the commencement— following a review under chapter 4 of the Act ; and that exempts a person or class of persons from complying with a provision of the repealed regulation that is substantially the same as a provision (the relevant provision ) of this regulation. A reference in the exemption to the provision of the repealed regulation is taken to be a reference to the relevant provision of this regulation. (sec.260-ssec.1) This section applies to an exemption made under section 153 of the Act that— exempts a person or class of persons from complying with a provision of the repealed regulation that is substantially the same as a provision (the relevant provision ) of this regulation; and was in effect immediately before the commencement. (sec.260-ssec.2) This section also applies to an exemption made under section 153 of the Act after the commencement— following a review under chapter 4 of the Act ; and that exempts a person or class of persons from complying with a provision of the repealed regulation that is substantially the same as a provision (the relevant provision ) of this regulation. (sec.260-ssec.3) A reference in the exemption to the provision of the repealed regulation is taken to be a reference to the relevant provision of this regulation.
- (a) exempts a person or class of persons from complying with a provision of the repealed regulation that is substantially the same as a provision (the relevant provision ) of this regulation; and
- (b) was in effect immediately before the commencement.
