sec.320 Driver training under repealed standard
This section applies to an operator of a relevant service if— before the commencement, the operator was giving a driver of a vehicle used to provide the service an introduction to the driver’s obligations under the Act , or training under a documented training program, under the repealed standard, section 20; and immediately before the commencement, the introduction or training was not complete. The operator may continue to give the introduction or training to the driver as if the amendment regulation had not been made and the repealed standard, section 20 were still in force. The introduction or training given in compliance with the repealed standard, section 20 is taken to be introductory training or driver training given under new section 18J(1) or (2). s 320 ins 2026 SL No. 4 s 36 (sec.320-ssec.1) This section applies to an operator of a relevant service if— before the commencement, the operator was giving a driver of a vehicle used to provide the service an introduction to the driver’s obligations under the Act , or training under a documented training program, under the repealed standard, section 20; and immediately before the commencement, the introduction or training was not complete. (sec.320-ssec.2) The operator may continue to give the introduction or training to the driver as if the amendment regulation had not been made and the repealed standard, section 20 were still in force. (sec.320-ssec.3) The introduction or training given in compliance with the repealed standard, section 20 is taken to be introductory training or driver training given under new section 18J(1) or (2).
- (a) before the commencement, the operator was giving a driver of a vehicle used to provide the service an introduction to the driver’s obligations under the Act , or training under a documented training program, under the repealed standard, section 20; and
- (b) immediately before the commencement, the introduction or training was not complete.
