sec.257 Moving expenses
The responsible officer may recover the reasonable expenses of moving the property, securely storing the property and publishing any newspaper notice for the property (the moving expenses ) from— the person who was in charge of the property immediately before it was moved; or if the person mentioned in paragraph (a) can not be identified or located—the owner of the property, unless the property was being used on the busway, busway transport infrastructure or light rail without the owner’s consent.
