sec.18O Requirements in relation to standing passengers
This section applies if the bus carries standing passengers. The operator must take reasonable steps to ensure— the bus is specifically designed and constructed to carry standing passengers; and the bus does not travel on a no standing passenger road while the bus is carrying standing passengers. s 18O ins 2026 SL No. 4 s 10 (sec.18O-ssec.1) This section applies if the bus carries standing passengers. (sec.18O-ssec.2) The operator must take reasonable steps to ensure— the bus is specifically designed and constructed to carry standing passengers; and the bus does not travel on a no standing passenger road while the bus is carrying standing passengers.
- (a) the bus is specifically designed and constructed to carry standing passengers; and
- (b) the bus does not travel on a no standing passenger road while the bus is carrying standing passengers.
