sec.145 Record to be kept about assignment
This section applies to an operator of a taxi service, or a booked hire service provided using a taxi, who temporarily assigns an interim taxi driver display card to a person under section 141 . The operator must keep a written record of the following for at least 5 years after the temporary assignment at a place of business of the operator— the name of the person to whom the card is assigned; the person’s driver authorisation number; the reason for the assignment; the date of the assignment; the date the card is returned to the operator. Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. (sec.145-ssec.1) This section applies to an operator of a taxi service, or a booked hire service provided using a taxi, who temporarily assigns an interim taxi driver display card to a person under section 141 . (sec.145-ssec.2) The operator must keep a written record of the following for at least 5 years after the temporary assignment at a place of business of the operator— the name of the person to whom the card is assigned; the person’s driver authorisation number; the reason for the assignment; the date of the assignment; the date the card is returned to the operator.
