sec.119 Purpose of division— Act , s 91ZY
This division provides for a scheme (the taxi subsidy scheme ) under section 91ZY of the Act for particular booked hire services and taxi services provided to particular persons using taxis. Under the taxi subsidy scheme, the State pays part of the fares for booked hire services and taxi services provided using taxis for approved relevant persons by providing a benefit to each approved relevant person in relation to the cost of the services. The taxi subsidy scheme is administered by the chief executive. (sec.119-ssec.1) This division provides for a scheme (the taxi subsidy scheme ) under section 91ZY of the Act for particular booked hire services and taxi services provided to particular persons using taxis.
