sec.42 Variation of ABP Standard

For this part— a requirement of the ABP Standard to the effect that information on a builders plate for a ship must include the name of the builder of the ship is to be read as a requirement that the information must include— the name of the builders plate approver who approves the information; and the capacity in which the person approves the information; and for paragraph (a) , a reference in the ABP Standard to the boat’s builder is, if the context permits, taken to be a reference to the builders plate approver mentioned in paragraph (a) (i) .
