sec.182 Buoy mooring category areas

This section applies to Queensland waters other than Gold Coast waters. The general manager may, by gazette notice, define an area of Queensland waters as 1 of the following category areas for buoy moorings— a category 1 area; a category 2 area. An area of Queensland waters that is not defined as a category 1 or 2 area is a category 3 area. The general manager may, by written agreement with a person (a mooring manager ), vest in the person the management and control of buoy moorings within a category 1 area in Queensland waters. the capacity to charge fees for the use of a buoy mooring the capacity to set conditions on the establishment of a buoy mooring the capacity to set conditions on the use of a buoy mooring (sec.182-ssec.1) This section applies to Queensland waters other than Gold Coast waters.
