sec.104 Temporary authority for registration of particular ships or pilot licence
This section applies if a person applies for— the registration of an other Queensland regulated ship; or a pilot licence for a pilotage area. The administering agency may grant a temporary registration or temporary pilot licence for a pilotage area (a temporary authority ) to the applicant for a term of not more than 6 months. The administering agency must issue to the applicant a document evidencing the temporary authority. The temporary authority is in force until the earliest of the following happens— the term of the temporary authority ends; the application for the registration or pilot licence is finally decided by the administering agency and the administering agency notifies the applicant of the decision; the temporary authority is suspended under section 117 . (sec.104-ssec.1) This section applies if a person applies for— the registration of an other Queensland regulated ship; or a pilot licence for a pilotage area. (sec.104-ssec.2) The administering agency may grant a temporary registration or temporary pilot licence for a pilotage area (a temporary authority ) to the applicant for a term of not more than 6 months. (sec.104-ssec.3) The administering agency must issue to the applicant a document evidencing the temporary authority. (sec.104-ssec.4) The temporary authority is in force until the earliest of the following happens— the term of the temporary authority ends; the application for the registration or pilot licence is finally decided by the administering agency and the administering agency notifies the applicant of the decision; the temporary authority is suspended under section 117 .
- (a) the registration of an other Queensland regulated ship; or
- (b) a pilot licence for a pilotage area.
- (a) the term of the temporary authority ends;
- (b) the application for the registration or pilot licence is finally decided by the administering agency and the administering agency notifies the applicant of the decision;
- (c) the temporary authority is suspended under section 117 .
