sec.29 Purpose of part
The purpose of this part is to provide for matters for part 7 of the Act . See section 46 of the Act in relation to the words and expressions used in Annex IV to MARPOL. Division 2 sets out matters relating to the discharge of sewage. Division 3 sets out matters relating to shipboard sewage management plans. Division 4 sets out matters relating to sewage disposal record books. Division 5 sets out matters relating to macerators. Division 6 sets out matters relating to treatment systems.
