300 Public Transport Development Authority abolished (a) the Public Transport Development Authority is abolished and the person appointed to the office of Chief Executive of the Public Transport Development Authority under section 79BA goes out of office; and (b) subject to this Part— (i) the Head, Transport for Victoria becomes the successor in law of the Public Transport Development Authority; and (ii) all property of the Public Transport Development Authority immediately before its abolition becomes the property of the Head, Transport for Victoria; and (iii) all rights and liabilities of the Public Transport Development Authority immediately before its abolition become rights and liabilities of the Head, Transport for Victoria; and (iv) the Head, Transport for Victoria is substituted for the Public Transport Development Authority as a party in any proceedings, contract, agreement or arrangement commenced or made by or against or in relation to the Public Transport Development Authority; and (v) the Head, Transport for Victoria must continue and complete any other continuing matter or thing commenced by or against or in relation to the Public Transport Development Authority.
