266 Vacancy, resignation or removal from office (1) The office of the Administrator becomes vacant if the Administrator— (a) becomes bankrupt, applies to take the benefit of any law for the relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors, compounds with his or her creditors or makes an assignment of his or her remuneration for their benefit; or (b) is convicted of an indictable offence or an offence that, if committed in Victoria, would be an indictable offence. (2) The Administrator may resign by notice in writing delivered to the Minister. (3) The Minister may remove the Administrator from office. S. 267 inserted by No. 61/2011 s. 27.
