187A Suspension S. 187A(1) amended by No. 34/2023 s. 110(1). (1) The Minister may immediately suspend a person from office as the Chief Investigator, Transport Safety if the Minister is of the opinion that the person— S. 187A(1)(d) amended by No. 34/2023 s. 110(1). (d) is otherwise unfit to continue to be the Chief Investigator, Transport Safety. (2) A suspension under subsection (1) is for a period not exceeding 3 months. S. 187A(3) amended by No. 34/2023 s. 110(2). (3) If a person is suspended from office under this section, the person remains entitled to their remuneration and allowances as the Chief Investigator, Transport Safety during the period of suspension.
