145Appointment of directors

145 Appointment of directors (1) The chairperson, deputy chairperson and other directors of a Transport Corporation must be appointed by the Governor in Council on the recommendation of the Minister made after consultation with the Treasurer. (2) A director is appointed for the term not exceeding 3 years as is specified in the instrument of appointment. (3) A director is appointed on the terms and conditions (including remuneration and allowances) that are specified in the instrument of appointment. (4) A director is eligible to be re-appointed. (5) The **Public Administration Act 2004** (other than Part 3 of that Act) applies to a director of a Transport Corporation in respect of the office of director.
