119 Object of Victorian Rail Track (1) The primary object of Victorian Rail Track is to act as the custodial owner of the State's transport-related land, infrastructure and assets consistent with the vision statement and the transport system objectives. (2) Without limiting the generality of subsection (1), Victorian Rail Track must ensure that the State's transport-related land, infrastructure and assets are developed and used— (a) primarily to support the transport system; (b) for other purposes which support government policy; (c) only for commercial gain if the development or use will not compromise the current or future transport system.
