sec.18 Property abandoned or left on railway
This section applies if property is— abandoned on a railway; or left on a railway against a direction of the railway manager for the railway or the Authority. The railway manager or the Authority may take steps that are reasonable and necessary to move the property to another place. In this section— direction , of a railway manager or the Authority, includes— a direction of an employee of the railway manager or the Authority; and a direction of the railway manager or the Authority indicated on a sign displayed on the railway. (sec.18-ssec.1) This section applies if property is— abandoned on a railway; or left on a railway against a direction of the railway manager for the railway or the Authority. (sec.18-ssec.2) The railway manager or the Authority may take steps that are reasonable and necessary to move the property to another place. (sec.18-ssec.3) In this section— direction , of a railway manager or the Authority, includes— a direction of an employee of the railway manager or the Authority; and a direction of the railway manager or the Authority indicated on a sign displayed on the railway.
