244 Contributors to Superannuation Fund S. 244(1) amended by No. 44/1989 s. 35(a)(b). (1) A transferred officer who was immediately before 1 July 1989 a contributor to the Superannuation Fund shall on and after 1 July 1989, for so long as he is employed in a Corporation, continue to be a contributor to that Fund. S. 244(2) amended by Nos 50/1988 s. 93(2)(Sch. 2 Pt 2 item 59), 44/1989 s. 35(b). (2) A transferred officer who continues to be a contributor to the Superannuation Fund under subsection (1) shall, for so long as he is employed in a Corporation, be deemed to be an officer within the meaning of the **State Superannuation Act 1988** and the provisions of the Act shall apply as if that person had continued in employment with the former Authority in which he was employed.
