> Despite section 53 of the [Interpretation Act 1987](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1987-015), the regulations may provide that, on and from SOC conversion day, a specified reference in an Act (other than this Act) or instrument, or in another document, to RailCorp is not taken to be a reference to TAHE.

> Section 53 of the [Interpretation Act 1987](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1987-015) provides that if an Act alters the name of a body—

> > (a) the body continues in existence under its new name so that its identity is not affected, and
>
