#### 139 Customer service contracts and exemptions 139 Customer service contracts and exemptions > > (1) Any exemption in force immediately before the commencement of this clause of the State Transit Authority, under the [Passenger Transport Act 1990](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1990-039), from the requirements of section 16(1) and (3) of that Act is taken to apply also to Sydney Ferries in respect of the kinds of regular passenger services subject to the exemption immediately before the commencement of Part 3A. > > > (2) Nothing in this clause prevents the exemption from being varied or revoked.
