147 Payment of costs and expenses (1) The Commission may pay an amount payable by it under section 145 in respect of costs or expenses for services to the person who paid the costs or expenses or, if the costs or expenses have not been paid, to the person who provided the services or to such other person as the Commission determines. (2) If a person is liable to pay costs or expenses to another person, an amount paid under subsection (1) to the second-mentioned person is, to the extent of the payment, a discharge of the liability of the first-mentioned person.
