#### 38 Contravening Australian subpoenas If the person named in the subpoena fails to comply with it, the Australian court or tribunal that issued the subpoena may issue a certificate under the seal of the court or tribunal stating that: (a) leave to serve the subpoena was given by an Australian court; and (b) the person named failed to comply with the subpoena.
