24Deemed registration

24 Deemed registration (1) A person who lodges a notice under section 18 with a local registration authority of an Australian jurisdiction is, pending the grant or refusal of registration, taken to be registered as provided in section 19. (2) Such registration is called “deemed registration” in this Act. (3) Deemed registration in one Australian jurisdiction does not of itself provide a basis for registration in another Australian jurisdiction.
