Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This regulation amends the Trans‑Tasman Mutual Recognition Act exemptions to add two South Australian laws to the permanent exemptions list: the Environment Protection Act 1993 (Part 8 Division 2) cash‑for‑containers scheme and Summary Offences Act 1953 section 9B. It matters to New Zealand suppliers and importers into South Australia—especially beverage businesses—because those SA requirements apply even if the goods meet New Zealand standards.
