79 Modification of rules 132, 137, 138, 146 and 147: overtaking bicycles Despite anything in rules 132, 137, 138, 146 or 147, a driver may overtake a bicycle if: (a) the driver has a clear view of any approaching traffic; and (b) the driver overtakes the bicycle in circumstances where it is safe to do so.
