Tasmania regulation
These regulations amend the Traffic (Compliance and Enforcement) Regulations 2017 to introduce rules about offence detection devices. They affect drivers, vehicle operators and enforcement agencies by creating new regulatory obligations and enforcement mechanisms; the amendments commence when the Vehicle and Traffic Amendment (Driver Distraction and Speed Enforcement) Act 2022 commences (reg 2). The Department of State Growth administers the instrument and the detailed requirements are contained in the amended principal Regulations.
