16 Court may order restitution Where a person is found guilty of an offence under this Act in relation to a traffic control device, the court may, in addition to
Traffic Act 1987 13 finding the person guilty, where damage was caused by the person to the traffic control device in committing the offence, order that person to pay the cost of the repair or replacement of the device.
