14 Trader must exercise due care and skill
(1) While the grower’s horticulture produce is under the control of the trader, the trader must exercise all reasonable care and skill in handling and storage to ensure that the produce remains of the highest quality possible. (2) The care and skill must be exercised until: (a) in the case of an agent—the ownership of the produce passes to a purchaser of it; or (b) in the case of a merchant—the ownership of the produce passes to the merchant.
Note: See clause 27 for when ownership passes to the merchant.
