#### 63 Amendment of application for registration of trade mark (1) The Registrar may, at the request of the applicant or of his or her agent, amend an application for the registration of a trade mark in accordance with section 64, 65 or 65A. (2) If: (a) an application for the registration of a trade mark may be amended under section 65; and (b) the applicant has not asked that the application be amended; the Registrar may, on his or her own initiative but in accordance with the regulations, amend the application as necessary: (c) to remove any ground on which the application could be rejected; or (d) so as to ensure that the application is made in accordance with this Act.
