239 Rules governing the use of certification trade marks registered in Part C of the old register

Any rules that, immediately before 1 January 1996, were governing the use of a trade mark then registered as a certification trade mark in Part C of the old register: (a) apply in relation to the use of the certification trade mark on or after that day as if they were rules made in accordance with this Act; and (b) may be varied under section 178.
