sec.13 Form of accreditation documents

An accreditation document for the accreditation may be in the form, or partly in the form, of a smartcard accreditation. A smartcard accreditation may be in the form of a smartcard transport authority. See also— the Transport Planning and Coordination Act 1994 , section 36G for when the chief executive may issue a smartcard transport authority under that Act; and the Transport Planning and Coordination Regulation 2017 , section 7 for when the chief executive may issue an interim transport authority and when an interim transport authority has effect as a smartcard transport authority. A smartcard accreditation that is in the form of a smartcard transport authority may include information about 1 or more other transport authorities held by the holder of the accreditation.
