#### 85 Offences 85 Offences > > (1) A person who, without lawful excuse, neglects or fails to comply with any requirement made of the person under this Division is guilty of an offence. > > > > Maximum penalty—75 penalty units, or imprisonment for 6 months, or both. > > > (2) A person who furnishes any information or records or does any other thing in purported compliance with a requirement made of the person under this Division, knowing that it is false or misleading in a material respect, is guilty of an offence. > > > > Maximum penalty—75 penalty units, or imprisonment for 6 months, or both. > > > (3) A person who— > > > > > (a) wilfully delays, obstructs or hinders an authorised officer or a police officer in the exercise of the officer’s functions under this Division, or > > > > > (b) conceals (or attempts to conceal) any person or thing from an authorised officer or a police officer under this Division, or > > > > > (c) prevents (or attempts to prevent) any person or thing from being examined by an authorised officer or police officer under this Division, > > > > is guilty of an offence. > > > > Maximum penalty—75 penalty units, or imprisonment for 6 months, or both.
