sec.180 References to repealed Act
In an instrument— a reference to the repealed Act is, if the context permits, taken to be a reference to this Act; and a reference to a provision of the repealed Act is, if the context permits, taken to be a reference to the equivalent provision of this Act. In this section— equivalent provision , for a provision of the repealed Act, means the provision of this Act dealing with the same subject matter as the provision of the repealed Act. (sec.180-ssec.1) In an instrument— a reference to the repealed Act is, if the context permits, taken to be a reference to this Act; and a reference to a provision of the repealed Act is, if the context permits, taken to be a reference to the equivalent provision of this Act. (sec.180-ssec.2) In this section— equivalent provision , for a provision of the repealed Act, means the provision of this Act dealing with the same subject matter as the provision of the repealed Act.
- (a) a reference to the repealed Act is, if the context permits, taken to be a reference to this Act; and
- (b) a reference to a provision of the repealed Act is, if the context permits, taken to be a reference to the equivalent provision of this Act.
