sec.39 Giving of statement of expectations

The Minister may give the corporation a written statement (a statement of expectations ) of the Minister’s expectations of the corporation in performing its functions and exercising its powers. The statement of expectations— must set out the Minister’s expectations for the period stated in the statement; and may include provisions about the following— the strategic or operational activities to be carried out by the corporation in the performance of its functions; reporting to the Minister about the activities; activities to be carried out by the corporation and the department, respectively. A statement of expectations given to the corporation under subsection (1) is taken to be a direction given under section 10 .
