#### 83 Person not to bet on a totalizator on behalf of minor 83 Person not to bet on a totalizator on behalf of minor > > (1) A person who, on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years, makes a bet on a totalizator is guilty of an offence. > > > > Maximum penalty—50 penalty units. > > > (2) It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence under this section if the defendant proves that the defendant had no reason to believe, and did not believe, that the person on whose behalf the defendant made the bet was under the age of 18 years.
