sec.37 Function of Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage body
The function of a Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage body for an area is to identify, for the benefit of a person who needs to know under this Act, the Torres Strait Islander parties for the area or for a particular part of the area. The Minister may give a Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage body for an area the financial or other help the body needs to carry out its function. (sec.37-ssec.1) The function of a Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage body for an area is to identify, for the benefit of a person who needs to know under this Act, the Torres Strait Islander parties for the area or for a particular part of the area. (sec.37-ssec.2) The Minister may give a Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage body for an area the financial or other help the body needs to carry out its function.
