#### 7 References to contraventions of civil penalty provisions For the purposes of this Act, if: (a) a provision of this Act refers to: (i) a contravention of a civil penalty provision; or (ii) a person contravening a civil penalty provision; and (b) the civil penalty provision is in a section in Chapter 3; the reference includes a reference to a contravention of, or a person contravening, subsection (1) of that section.
