sec.213 Failure to produce acknowledgement
A person of whom an acknowledgement production requirement is made must comply with the requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Maximum penalty—50 penalty units. It is not a reasonable excuse for a person not to comply with an acknowledgement production requirement that complying with the requirement might tend to incriminate the person. In this section— acknowledgement production requirement means a requirement made under section 212 (1) . s 213 ins 2001 No. 20 s 42 amd 2025 No. 27 s 28 (sec.213-ssec.1) A person of whom an acknowledgement production requirement is made must comply with the requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Maximum penalty—50 penalty units. (sec.213-ssec.2) It is not a reasonable excuse for a person not to comply with an acknowledgement production requirement that complying with the requirement might tend to incriminate the person. (sec.213-ssec.3) In this section— acknowledgement production requirement means a requirement made under section 212 (1) .
