sec.199 Securing seized thing
Having seized a thing, an authorised person may do 1 or more of the following— move the thing from the place where it was seized (the place of seizure ); leave the thing at the place of seizure but take reasonable steps to restrict access to it; if the thing is equipment—make it inoperable. sealing a thing and marking it to show access to it is restricted removing a component of equipment without which the equipment is not capable of being used s 199 sub 2001 No. 20 s 40

- (b) leave the thing at the place of seizure but take reasonable steps to restrict access to it;
- (c) if the thing is equipment—make it inoperable.
