sec.16 When retail or wholesale licence ceases to have effect
A retail or wholesale licence ceases to have effect if— the licence is cancelled or surrendered; or the business for the licence is sold. A retail or wholesale licence does not have effect during any period of suspension of the licence. A retail licence (liquor) also— ceases to have effect if the related liquor licence is cancelled or surrendered; and does not have effect during any period of suspension of the related liquor licence. s 16 ins 2023 No. 16 s 7 (sec.16-ssec.1) A retail or wholesale licence ceases to have effect if— the licence is cancelled or surrendered; or the business for the licence is sold. (sec.16-ssec.2) A retail or wholesale licence does not have effect during any period of suspension of the licence. (sec.16-ssec.3) A retail licence (liquor) also— ceases to have effect if the related liquor licence is cancelled or surrendered; and does not have effect during any period of suspension of the related liquor licence.
- (a) the licence is cancelled or surrendered; or
- (b) the business for the licence is sold.
