This Order updates the authorised version of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 by making and recording amendments to that Act and coming into effect on the day it is notified in the Gazette. It applies to the legal framework for threatened species in Tasmania and is administered by the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment. It matters because it changes the statute text people and regulators must follow (see clauses 2–3, and 4–6).
