This Order updates the authorised text of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 and brings those updates into effect on the day the Order is notified in the Gazette. It does not itself set out new policy details; it records that specified amendments have been incorporated into the Act’s authorised version (clauses 4–6). Commencement is automatic on Gazette notification (cl.2) and the Order is administered by the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.
