30 Agreements arising from land management plans

(1)  [Section 30 Subsection (1) amended by No. 64 of 2002, Sched. 1, Applied:31 Dec 2002] The Secretary may make an agreement with any landholder for any purpose arising from a land management plan.

(2)  An agreement –

(a) may provide for the carrying out of works and payment for those works; and

(b) may provide for compensation for financial loss arising from the agreement; and

(c) is to contain provisions –

(i) [Section 30 Subsection (2) amended by No. 64 of 2002, Sched. 1, Applied:31 Dec 2002] enabling the Secretary to cancel the agreement if it is no longer required for the conservation of the relevant taxon; and

(ii) providing for conciliation by CRC in respect of any matter arising from the agreement or the land management plan to which it gives effect.
