### 29 Land management plans
> > (1) [*\[Section 29 Subsection (1) amended by No. 64 of 2002, Sched. 1, Applied:31 Dec 2002\]*](/view/html/inforce/2002-12-31/act-2002-064#JS1@Ja19@GC15@Hpa@EN) The Secretary may, after consultation with an affected landholder, make a land management plan for the purpose of protecting a listed taxon of flora or fauna.

> > > > (a) is to define the area of land, whether held by one or more landholders, to which it relates; and

> > > > (b) is to specify the objectives for management of land for the purposes of conservation and management of a taxon to which the plan relates; and

> > (4) [*\[Section 29 Subsection (4) amended by No. 64 of 2002, Sched. 1, Applied:31 Dec 2002\]*](/view/html/inforce/2002-12-31/act-2002-064#JS1@Ja19@GC15@Hpd@EN) The Secretary must, within 90 days after making a determination of a critical habitat for a listed taxon of flora or fauna and after consultation with any landholder affected by the determination, prepare a land management plan for the purpose of protecting that taxon.
